Wow, to be vulnerable enough to declare these words!

If you are on the other side of 40, you have most likely experienced some difficult things in life.  You may feel alone in your struggle to regain your footing and your faith. You may swallow at the disappointments you feel over lost opportunities, short-sighted decisions, hurts and just plain disillusionment. I want to encourage you that you are not alone and that there is a way out of the pit called disappointment....back onto the solid ground and green pasture of The Father’s Love and Assurance.

Just a few short years ago, my story found me struggling to find my footing.  All of my best intentions, of getting this motherhood role perfect, fell a bit short.  As I struggled to forgive myself and others and believe all that God says about me, other rugs began to be pulled from under me.  Had it not been for the Grace of God, I would not be here today.  Over the past 3 years, the Lord has restored me to the place of Rest in Him and I never plan to leave!  Grace truly has rewritten my story, I just needed to receive it.  I want that to be your testimony too.

Please join me for this 5-day challenge.  We will follow the path of God’s overwhelming Grace to rediscover the truth that first set us free.  We will posture our hearts to release and receive. I promise, you will never be the same again!

Anita Michaud

I feel so blessed to have been married to my best friend, Don Michaud for 30+ years. Together, we (and God) have raised twin daughters (25 years old) and a son, (21 years old). In the past 5 years, we have walked each of them down the aisle to marry each to his/her best friend. And so we begin this new phase of your life. In 3 short months, we will be grandparents to our first grandchild and couldn't be more excited.
As a mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, sister-in-law niece and friend, I have walked through many ups and downs. Thankfully I have always been surrounded by many who love me and who I love greatly. I have walked through great joys and difficult trials, I have walked in seasons of overwhelming grief, deep wounding, relational rejection and religious bondage. Through every experience, I can testify of God's Grace in my life. There have been times I could not see it, but today, I cannot help but see it!!! I am so in love with God and so full of Hope for all that He has done for each of us. I will spend the rest of my life exploring the depth of His Grace.
